Recall

In this exercise the dog will be taught to "sit" and "stay" while you walk away from your dog. He must then "stay" until called and then respond quickly to the command "come". use a long leash. "sit" your dog. Command him to "stay". move a short distance away from him. If he attempts to follow replace him back to the original position, repeating the command "stay". keep doing this and soon you will be able to walk a considerable distance from him with out him moving. Then give the command "come" if he does not respond give a tug on the leash and slowly pull him to you. Repeat as many time as it takes.
