Shock

Nearly all dogs hurt in accidents suffer from shock. The heart beats faster but weakly, the dog shows prostration and often seems oblivious to the pain wich you may think he must feel. Shock needs treatment before any minor cuts and breaks. cover him with a warm blanket and keep him warm. His body will provide all the heat he needs if well covered and in a temp. of 70* F . If not bring him into a warm place.
